The technical principle is based on the polarization effect by reflection on an optical surface. The prism attenuator can be used up to intensities of 2GW/cm² for pulse wave and 10kW/cm² for continuous wave. The prism attenuator can be combined with neutral density filters for final power adjustment. The high performance optical design allows precise beam attenuation.
